DYNAMIQUE DE L'OCCUPATION DU SOL ET MUTATIONS SOCIO-SPATIALES EN PAYS EHOTILE D'ASSINIE SUR LE LITTORAL EST DE LA COTE D'IVOIRE
Résumé
La progression des surfaces consacrées aux cultures agroindustrielles (hévéa, cocotier, palmier à huile, ananas) constitue la dimension la plus originale de la transformation du littoral Est entre 1986 et 2000. En effet, l’introduction et le développement de ces cultures représentent un exemple édifiant des tendances agricoles sur le littoral ivoirien. En 14 ans, ces cultures ont réorganisé le paysage rural. Cela s’est fait sous la forme de reconversion des terres au détriment des cultures vivrières ou d’agrandissement au détriment de la forêt. Dans ce cas particulier, la forêt disparaît et laisse la place à une végétation secondaire mitée ou à une végétation marécageuse impropre aux cultures.
Dans ce contexte, les terres sur sol ferme se raréfient. Dès lors, le système foncier traditionnel, tout en se maintenant difficilement devient générateur de conflits : les conflits pour la terre émergent et/ou s’accentuent, rendant de plus en plus difficile la coexistence intergénérationnelle et interethnique.

The progress of surfaces devoted to the agroindustrial-growing (rubberwood, coconut, palm tree, pineapple) is the most original dimension processing of East coast between 1986 and 2000. Indeed, the introduction and development of these cultures represent an example building agricultural trends on the Ivorian coast. In 14 years, these crops have reorganized the rural landscape. This was done in the form of land conversion to the detriment of food crops or expansion to the detriment of the forest. In this particular case, forest disappears, leaving the place to a secondary vegetation or improper swamp vegetation to crops.
In this context, the land on floor firm is scarce. Therefore, the property system, traditional in is now hardly becomes generator conflict: conflict for the land emerge and/or to accentuate, making it more difficult the intergenerational and inter-ethnic coexistence.
